The procurement applies to a traffic agreement for publicly purchased passenger train transport in the central Eastern Norway area on the following routes: • Local train (L-train) Spikkestad/Asker — Lillestrøm; • Local train (L-train) Stabekk/Oslo S — Ski; • Regional train (R-train) Stabekk — Moss; • Regional train (R-train) Oslo S — Mysen/Rakkestad; • Regional express train (RE train) Oslo S — Halden; • Regional train (R-train) Kongsberg — Eidsvoll; • Regional train (R-train) Drammen — Dal; • Regional train (R-train) Asker — Kongsvinger; • Regional express train (RE train) Drammen — Lillehammer; • Regional express train (RE train) Skien — Eidsvoll • Regional train (R-train) Notodden — Porsgrunn. The Norwegian Railway Directorate intends to procure the delivery directly from the current operator Vygruppen AS, which notified in the current agreement with Vygruppen AS for the period 2019-2022. The Norwegian Railway Directorate shall enter into a new traffic agreement which includes traffic that is not exposed to competition at the change of timetable in December 2022. This traffic agreement shall facilitate gradual exposure to competition of remaining traffic and has an expected duration from December 2022 to December 2025 with the possibility of extension of 1 + 1 years.
