Miljødirektoratet [the Norwegian Environment Agency] intends to enter into a contract with Norsk institutt for naturforskning (NINA) [the Norwegian Institute for Nature Research] regarding partial financing of the Seabird populations programme SEAPOP. The contract will be signed with NINA, the coordinator of the programme, but the work will be carried out by two institutions: NINA and Norsk Polarinstitutt (NP) [the Norwegian Polar Institute].
The contract is for 2023. The budget is NOK 14.282 million. Moreover, NOK 1.8 million from the Wildlife Fund shall be included in the contract.
