Finavia is investing in the development of Helsinki Airport. The aim of the development programme is to strengthen the position of Helsinki Airport in both the international competition between airports and as a significant airline hub between Europe and Asia. Finavia is planning to offer premises to businesses providing car rental services to air traffic passengers in the new terminal.
Finavia asks car rental operators to view the preliminary concept floor plan and answer a question regarding the planned concept at
https://www.lyyti.in/finavia_carrental — and to leave their contact information. Finavia may invite some or all operators to join in a live discussion on the concept. Discussions will be conducted in Finnish or English by online call system (Microsoft Teams or similar).
Finavia kindly reminds all potential operators that this is not a procurement notification or an Invitation to Tender, but a market survey and a request for information. Finavia does not commit to carrying out any procurement. All information collected with the request for information is confidential and shall only be used for planning the concept. This request for information does not obligate Finavia to carry out any procurement or to take the received responses into consideration when compiling a possible Invitation to Tender. Responding to the request for information is not a prerequisite for participating in possible procurement and giving a response does not obligate or entitle the party giving the response to participate in the possible procurement. Participating in this RfI will not be compensated.
Finavia is planning to offer two concepts of business premises for operators to choose from:
1) Branded premises (8 units in total)
Costs for operators: fixed rent + X% MMG* + car space per lot.
Dedicated space with possibility to furnish brand visibility first line location in the car rental area.
2) Common-use premises (1 unit).
Lower costs for operators: fixed rent + car space per lot
A single open concept shared space with other car rental operators to meet customers collecting car keys.
Both concepts would share the same waiting area.
Rent, car lot prices and percentages to be defined.
*MMG: Minimum Monthly Guarantee.
