To ensure that all advance votes arrive on time, the Norwegian Directorate of Elections shall enter into a contract with Norway Post for the collection, sorting and distribution of advance voting slips in the last week prior to the election day. The assignment involves collecting advance voting slips from all of Norway's municipalities up to and including the Friday before election day. Send distribute the voting slips to the recipient municipalities within the deadline for receiving late advance voting slips. This is the day after election day at 17.00.
