Due to the corona situation, Ålesund Municipality is obliged to established a scheme for a quarantine hotel in order to restrict the spread of imported infection.
In addition to seeing to infection protection, there is a need to enter into a contract with a hotel with a high room capacity that can house the required number at short notice.
Ålesund Municipality will soon announce a contest with the aim of signing a contract for a quarantine hotel.
A temporary contract will be signed with Scandic Parken (Hotelldrift Ålesund AS) to take care of the need for a quarantine hotel up until the contest has been held.
