The Norwegian Public Roads Administration request strategic advice related to management of the overall transport system, including areas such as Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), smart mobility and automated transport. The contracts will cover the need for competence that the Norwegian Public Roads Administration does not have access to in its own organisation at a given point in time, or where there is an independent need for external capacity.
The purpose of the tender contest is to enter into a framework agreement for assistance and advice related to NPRA's tasks for the interface between technology, administration and political comprehension. The assistance shall help NPRA to position itself correctly in the landscape with regard to the administration's area of responsibility in the overall supplier picture, which includes other transport agencies, innovation environments and local authorities.
