Short description
Institutt for geofag ved Universitetet i Oslo (the Department of Geosciences at Oslo University) plans to procure a Nanoindenter instrument in order to study deformation processes and mechanical characteristics of rocks and minerals that make up the earth's tectonic plates. Nanoindenter is an instrument for precise micro and nanoscale mechanical testing of materials.
