Short description
NRA IKS is carrying out a market survey in order to get a better overview of what the market has to offer of products and systems. The market survey will give an overview of companies that have existing systems, and which, in collaboration with NRA, are interested in further developing the current technology and systems to a system that covers and fulfils NRA IKS' needs.
NRA IKS is assessing the possibility of having an industrial partner at a later date. The market dialogue will not bind suppliers or NRA IKS in any later procurement process.
The intention is to be made aware of or develop a tool that can monitor, measure, and document movement and distribution of biofilm carriers in a reactor.
The project is not concerned with which principle is chosen. The system can be permanently installed in the reactor, as a camera, movement sensor, etc. The system can be mobile, i.e., equipment that can swim freely in the reactor with a fixed detector, or the system can be fixed to selected biofilm carriers without changing their characteristics. NRA is open to all systems in the market survey.
The system must:
— be able to show the movement of biofilm carriers;
— be able to document the movement and the stirring process;
— be flexible as regards the type and size of the reactor/tank that is used;
— be flexible as regards the type of biofilm carriers that are used.
