Short description
The Haus district of Oslo has been subject regulation as a special area — urban ecologic cultural district, case S-4387 approved by the City Council 18 June 2008. The cultural building Hausmania is renting Hausmannsgate 34-38 from Oslo municipality. The property comprises several buildings with i.a. two old industrial halls made of concrete. These buildings are situated near the Aker river back on the back of the cultural building Hausmania. These buildings will now be demolished and a new building will be constructed containing, amongst other things, a concert hall, art exhibition premises, and two floors with art studios, etc.
A decision has been made to carry out the project with interaction in a turnkey contract. This means that the executing contractor will be contracted before the preliminary project phase, and will participate as an active party in the engineering design group. The engineering design phase will end with a complete production basis for execution consisting of an item description in accordance with NS 3420, as well as the associated engineering design drawings, BIM model, progress, plan, and an agreed target price calculation.
