Short description
The Norwegian Public Roads Administration, henceforth referred to as the contracting authority, calls for tenders for the delivery of a report describing ‘The transport of the Future’ in Norway until 2050. The report shall describe the historical development trends we have had up until present, and how the development of transport of passenger and freight will be in the future.
The transport system is facing a major development and probably a major change. Technology, change in settlement and work patterns will play a major role. The contracting authority wants a discussion of the conditions that most likely have great impacts on the transport sector, as well as some scenarios of the trending development in the future transport service.
The development aspects must be described for both passengers and freight transport, where both the population development and the business development are important variables.
