Up to 50 wild reindeer will be tagged (of which, up to 30 bucks), 40 moose and 30 deer. The animals must be tagged with transmitters that are suitable for use in the areas where the animals will be tagged.
The tagging will primarily take place with the help of helicopters at Hardangervidda and in the bordering areas. For wild reindeer, areas in Setesdal will also be included in addition to Hardangervidda. For moose and deer, it is relevant to tag at Hardangervidda and in the bordering valleys.
The tagging will take place in the period January-April 2021, possibly with some supplementary tagging the same period in 2022.
