Fiber dimension image analyser

Short description

The Tenderer is requested to submit a tender for a fully operational fiber dimension image analyser for imaging and analysis of length, width, shape and other physical parameters of fibers from wood, non-wood and other types of fibers.

Research and education of fibers and other cells, especially wood-based ones, demand qualitative and quantitative analysis by ultra-high definition optics with state-of-the-art resolution and sensitivity of the analyser for detection of fibrils, while also having a large image size for detection of shives. Additionally, the ability to measure other fibres than only wood is required.

The instrument shall be installed in the Gadolinia building by the Tenderer at Porthansgatan 3, 20500 Turku
