The general purpose of this research project is to get an increase knowledge-basis about social characteristics of children and youth who commit crimes, and to what degree the different penalty sanctions have different effects on the life situation afterwards. It is also a paramount objective to get more knowledge about the efficiency of different penalty sanctions for relapse to new criminality, labour market measures and education.
