For us to understand the market's needs and ideas for reuse concepts, and TRV’s [Trondheim Sanitation Department] goal of increasingly more reuse of products, we shall carry out a supplier dialogue with the market participants. In this dialogue we want to receive input that we can use further in the planning and implementation of the project and future tender contests, cooperation and downstream agreements related to the project.
Trondheim Renholdsverk AS [Trondheim Sanitation Department] is a subsidary to the TRV Gruppen AS [the TRV Group]. TRV Gruppen AS is wholly owned by Trondheim municipality. Trondheim Renholdsverk's social assignment is to offer comprehensive and competitive waste systems and services to residents of Trondheim municipality, and the municipality's public services. We shall be among Norway's leading companies when it comes to safeguarding waste resources in the most modern, efficient and environmentally friendly manner, and nationally leading in terms of innovation, work environment and quality.
The essence of our commitment is a genuine desire to contribute positively to a long-term, sustainable social development. Sustainability therefore penetrates the entire business and forms the basis for our visions, goals and values. In 2019 a new concept was developed for our reuse shop ‘Bruktom’. The concept is undergoing a strong expansion and development, and from November 2020 BrukOm will be located at Nyhavna in Trondheim, where we want to establish a recycling center in co-location with several participants.
