OED provides background information and talking points to political leadership about the activities of the supplier industry internationally. The international activity/export become very extensive, while there have been significant changes in activity in recent years as a result of significant changes in the activity due to oil price, cost level in the industry and not least operational costs and challenges related to Covid-19.
This study will give a quantitative, qualitative and systematic collection and analsyis of information about i.a international turnover (export and sales through subsidiaries) from the Norwegian supplier industry. In addition, it will provide answers to the significance of international activity for the industry home. Finally, the study will say something about trends in this market in the short and medium term and the extent to which the traditionally petroleum-oriented supplier industry also supplies and will supply, goods and services to the renewable industry.
