The acquisition
We are looking for an integrating system that produces situation pictures for land and maritime border surveillance (C2, Command and control system). It should be able to fuse data from portable, movable and stationary surveillances and create visual situation pictures. The situation picture can be shared with fixed or mobile command centers nation wide and in real-time.
An important functionality of the C2 system, is the ability to fuse data from different sources into objects that can be shown as single spots on the situation picture.
The land border surveillance system has technically reached the end of its life cycle, especially when it comes to integrations. The current maritime C2 system still has years left, even if we experience some difficulties with new integrations. That is why the solution we are looking for can be either for both land and maritime use or just land border surveillance.
The goal is to update our surveillance equipment and to integrate functionality with the C2 solution. In the future the swift and easy exchange of data with international actors makes it possible for stakeholders to base decisions on shared data.
