Uppsala University intends to purchase a triple quadrupole mass spectrometer for the Department of Pharmacy. One of the triple quadrupole mass spectrometers currently used in the Drug Delivery Group, Department of Pharmacy, needs to be replaced due to recurrent problem with worn-out components. The current mass spectrometer is coupled to a UPLC, Acquity model, from Waters Corporation, which do not need to be replaced. Therefore, the new mass spectrometer must be able to be integrated with this UPLC. The group needs an instrument with high precision and accuracy to be able to quantify very low chemical concentrations.
