The Norwegian Directorate for Children, Youth and Family Affairs (Norwegian abbreviation Bufdir) intends to enter into a contract with Oslo Metropolitan University (Norwegian abbreviation Oslomet) — NOVA for a research assignment. Background: After several years with reduction, the youth crimes in Oslo have increased from 2015. Bufdir, in cooperation with Oslo municipality, is now initiating a project for a period up until and including 2022. The objective is to prevent crimes and help the youth out of criminal activity. A research project shall be initiated simultaneously. The research project shall generate new knowledge in identifying, systemising and analysing the qualities of the measures used in this project, that in a particular manner gives the target group a high sense of goal achievement.
