The aim of the procurement is to establish framework agreements that will cover the Institute of Public Health's need for cultivation media and buffers for identification, characterisation, resistance determination, antibiotics testing, resistance testing of high pathogenic agent (bioterror agent), and airborne pathogens and micro-biological analysis.
Buffers will also be used for cell cultivation for biological experiments.
The Institute of Public Health has an emphasis on ensuring quality in their performed tasks and services. Quality assurance is done through a joint established quality system for laboratory activities.
The Institute of Public Health is accredited in accordance with the new version of the international standard ISO 17025 (NS-EN ISO-IEC 17025:2017). The accreditation covers both analysis activities, a professional assessment and an interpretation of the analysis results, and flexible accreditation.
