Short description
Norske Tog is a state owned public limited company established in 2017. One of the Norske Tog assignments is to own and lease out rolling stock to train operators who win competition for the delivery of passenger traffic on the railway network in Norway.
To ensure an attractive offer for train travellers, Norske Tog plans to convert 5 to 8 of the existing train carriage to carriages with sleeping/reclining seats. This will result in the capacity on the night train in Norway increasing, and the offer to travellers wishing to sleep will be improved.
Through this RFI, Norske Tog wants to come into contract with and receive input from potential suppliers of Night-train concept sleeping/reclining seats for train carriages. Norske Tog has prepared a questionnaire that the potential tenderers must complete and return to us. The form must be delivered via the contracting authority's KGV system EU-Supply.
