To maintain the state-of-the-art nature of the existing instrumentation and allow us to expand our current research profile to include health-related topics, it is necessary to acquire the latest generation plasma source mass spectrometers. This new instrument, based on emerging technology, will permit the analysis of the isotopic composition for a range of key elements previously not possible with our current instruments.
