Short description
Sula and Ålesund Municipalities have decided to continue with a review of a possible joint sewage treatment facility at Kvasnes in Sula Municipality. A draft project has been prepared, which deals with transfer pipelines and process installations. These will form the basis for the preliminary project. In addition the zoning work has started for the area at Kvasnes where the sewage treatment facility will be located. This must be taken into consideration in the preliminary project. This includes results from various surveys, plan drafts and continual communication with the zoning process. The new sewage treatment facility at Kvasnes must have sufficient treatment capacity to cope with sewage from Sula and Ålesund Municipalities, and it is to be designed as a secondary treatment facility.
