The new E16 through Bærum kommune [municipality] is being expanded to a 4 lane road and is divided into 3 parcels.
— Sandvika – Wøyen → which is under construction and which this contract is a part of,
— Wøyen – Bjørum → was opened in 2009,
— Bjørum – Skaret → the construction planning phase was started in autumn 2017.
This contract, E03 Local roads Sandvika – Emma Hjorth, includes reconstruction of the previous E16 and supporting local roads on the stretch between Sandvika and Emma Hjorth/Åses vei.
The contract will be implemented model-based.
The contract consists of 3 isolated sub areas, designated respectively as Sandvika, Hamang north and the crossing at Åses vei, cf. overview drafts B3003, B3006, B3007 and B3008.
