Short description
New double ferry piers will be built at Hjelmeland and Nesvik, along with the requisite infrastructure for the quay area on land. Both of the quays must be constructed to allow electrical charging of the ferries. At Nesvik, approx. 17 000 cubic metres will be blasted and freighted to be used as filling at Hjelmeland. A new express boat quay will also be built at Nesvik. Current ferry operation will be maintained through the entire construction period.
