Natural research institute is testing submergible fish farm cage that should be suitable and specially designed for Baltic sea conditions where ice exist very likely at wintertime. Test license is applied beside island Lanskeri in North Kihti that is water area between Kustavi and Åland island at Sothwest Finland. The content of the procurement is described in more detail in the invitation to tender and its annexes. Project is committed in Co-operation with Fish farming companies Lännenpuolen Lohi Oy and Brandö lax ab. Companies maintenance vessels can be used in mooring and cage assembly and transportation.
