Aalto University School of Chemical Engineering, Department of Chemical and Metallurgical Engineering is conducting research on sustainable utilization of raw materials, designing more efficient processes and developing new materials and products. Analysis of gas streams is needed in many research focus areas at the department such as metal products treatment at high temperatures, recovery of metals and precious materials, valorisation of biomass and in development of chemical processes. We seek a complete turn-key, stand-alone, multicomponent portable Fourier-transform infrared spectrometer (FTIR) gas analyser for on-line analysis of gas streams. The analyser must tolerate wet, corrosive gas streams and be able to perform measurements with wide dynamic ranges. The FTIR analyser must have large number of ready calibrated components available.
