The Contracting Authority is a municipal company (KF) and operates management and exercises authority in the port area in accordance with the Port and Water Act. The company keeps the fairways in order and provides suitable moorage for ships calling at Oslo Havn [the port of Oslo]. The company's objective is to provide effective and rational port operations to facilitate efficient and environmentally friendly sea transport, and manage the port's properties and facilities in an economically and environmentally sound manner. The company's quality and HSE system is certified in accordance with the environmental standard ISO 14001.
