A comprehensive upgrade of the central network is currently being carried out, whilst the network is to be administered in an efficient and good way. The use of technology is central and work is ongoing to improve the quality of core activities and make them more efficient through the use of model-based deliveries - her defined as BIM (Building Information Models). Statnett has experience with and currently uses BIM, but it is now a priority to coordinate and improve this area across processes and units, where BIM is seen in a lifecycle perspective.
