The purpose of the procurement is to map uncompacted material thickness, rock quality and any low-speed zones (weakness zones in the rock foundation) along several alternatives for an undersea tunnel between Tromsøya and Kvaløya. The results of the surveys will provide the opportunity to reduce requirements for standard rock cover for undersea tunnels. Mapping rock surfaces in shall waters near land for alternative bridge between Tromsøya and Kvaløya.
