SwePol Link is a HVDC monopolar cable connection, 450 kVDC, 600 MW, between the converter station Stärnö in Sweden and the converter station Slupsk in Poland. The link is on the AC side connected to the 400 kVAC systems in the respective countries. The cable connection consists of a 254 km long 450 kVDC mass-impregnated cable and two parallel 20 kV XLPE return cables (MCRC).

This is an invitation for prequalification for procurement concerning all services for the operation and maintenance of the HVDC converter station in Stärnö, including fault location of the HVDC cable and the MCRC cables and handling of spare parts in different storage situated on the station and in the harbour (Oxhaga). The intended contract term is from April 1, 2015, until December 31, 2016.
