The object of the tender process is 2-port 40 GHz network analyzer.
The VNA will be used for the characterization of both passive and active electronic components, with future plans to extend usage to optoelectronic measurements — for example, evaluating S-parameters of optical modulators and photodiodes (e.g., S21 gain/response). Therefore, the base unit should be compatible with optoelectronic measurement setups, including integration with external electro-optic (E/O) and opto-electronic (O/E) modules.

VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland Ltd will choose one supplier from among the tenderers.
