Gas composition analyzer (FTIR) to detect gas compositions in synthetic gas bench reactor systems used for CCU, P2X, aftertreatment system and material research.
This procurement is co-funded by European Structural Funds - Just Transition Fund (JTF).
The implementation of the procurement is dependent on the continuation of the funding.
The absolute maximum value for this procurement is 85 000 euros. We can not accept tenders that exceeds this value.
Environmental and Chemical Engineering research unit at the University of Oulu is conducting research on environmental catalysis where reaction activities are studied using synthetic feed gases in small-scale reactors simulating full-scale conditions. These kinds of experiments are a tool to develop new catalytic materials and methods in relation to green-shift technologies, which will be based on green hydrogen produced mainly with green electricity in future. In addition to electric engines, hydrogen based fuels (H2 direct use, e-ammonia, e-methanol and e-HCs) will be used in combustion engines, replacing fossil diesel, gasoline, gas and other HC fuels. Research for the fuel preparation and exhaust gas aftertreatment systems require this new analyzer (FTIR) to measure gas compositions in research reactor system (separate purchase).
