Vesar AS wishes to invite suppliers to one-on-one meetings 20/11-23 and 21/11-23 in connection with the invitation to tender for the contract for collection and transport of household waste during the first 6 months of 2024.
Collection and transport of household waste in the municipalities of Horten, Holmestrand, Tønsberg and Færder. The contract includes collection of residual waste, food waste, plastic packaging, paper/cardboard and glass and metal packaging. The extent is approx. 60,000 households, approx. 5,700 cottages and approx. 10 businesses. Vesar will from 1/3-24 implement a new collection model where, among other things, residual waste, paper/cardboard and plastic packaging are collected every fourth week. The contract shall be initiated 01.09.2026
Vesar requests input from suppliers on systems for the following: Car types/safety, fuel, electronic registration of emptying/complaints/deviations, cottage sanitation and buried containers.
The tentative plan for further process is:
• submit the tender documentation out for a hearing in February 2024
• Publication of the tender notice in early May 2024
• Deadline for receipt of tenders early July 2024
• Evaluation and contract signings August/September 2024
The meetings are preferably held at Vesar in Taranrødveien 95B, 20/11 and 21/11 respectively (week 47 - 2023).
