Technical Dialogue of Transport incubator system.

This document is an invitation to participate in a technical dialogue on the medical equipment required for neonatal intra-patient transfers between hospitals in the neonatal intensive care unit. The objective of the dialogue is to improve our understanding of market offering that would serve this purpose.
Transport incubator system
- a neonatal transport incubator system suitable for ground and air transport of newborns between hospitals in Finland
o newborns from 500 g to 6 kg
o thermoneutral environment
o patient fixation and safety
o patient accessibility
o weight
o insertions of ventilator tubes, infusion lines, monitoring possible
- transport incubator with fixation rails or suitable interface for a Stryker stretcher
A transport incubator system includes :
- A transport incubator, on a trolley/rail with a fixation interface to a Stryker stretcher (see above)
- Rails/trolley with fixation sites for 4 to 6 infusion pumps
- site for a patient monitor an t piece resuscitator
- Transport ventilator suitable for invasive and noninvasive neonatal ventilation
- site for gas bottles (air and oxygen)
- optional: site for iNO
- suction
