Haugesund kommune [Haugesund municipality] will build a new public swimming pool at Flotmyr in central Haugesund. Furthermore, new schools and sports hall will be built in the area where the current indoor swimming pool is located. In order to progress in the process with possible demolition of the existing indoor swimming pool and preparation for the school and sports building, Haugesund municipality intends to lease pool time from an external actor. The municipality wants an external actor to take on the task of building and operating the indoor swimming pool where the municipality can lease pool time. The capacity that the municipality leases will be allocated to the municipality's statutory swimming lessons and to sport activities.
