Aalto University School of Electrical Engineering, Department of Electrical Engineering and Automation, Robotic Instruments research group is conducting re-search on micro-manipulation methods such as acoustic and magnetic manipulation, wetting and liquid spreading, superhydrophobicity, micro force sensing, and fluid dynamics on functionalized surfaces. For conducting this research, the group has a need of a single wavelength 3D microscopy based on digitally reconstructed holograms. Digital holographic microscope may be used in applications such as visualizing the static and dynamic particle interaction with the air-liquid interface, behaviour of curved menisci, and so on.
