The Norwegian Directorate for Education and Training wishes to implement a pilot project entitled Development of daycare as a learning organisation and arena for skills development for employees and students (referred to as just "the pilot project" below).
A total of NOK 3.0 million was set aside for the pilot project in 2013. The funds in their entirety will be spent on development, commissioning, implementation and evaluation of the pilot project.
The Norwegian Directorate for Education and Training wishes to implement the pilot project at up to two educational institutions, one central to Eastern Norway and one in more rural parts of the country.
The Norwegian Directorate for Education and Training wishes to find out how various local conditions act as contributory factors in the educational institutions' work on preparation, development and implementation of the pilot project.
The Norwegian Directorate for Education and Training will carry out a more detailed assessment of the distribution of funds if the pilot project is implemented by two educational institutions.
