Oslo Municipality currently has a co-procurement contract for new furniture for offices, schools, and institutions that will expire in October 2023. Oslo municipality, c/o the Agency for Development and Competence [Utviklings- og kompetanseetaten (UKE)] is now in the planning phase of a new co-procurement contract that will replace it. The objective of the co-procurement contract is to ensure efficient and simple access to furniture and fittings for the municipality's entities. The need for furniture and fittings is varies a lot amongst the contracting authority's entities. There are often different considerations that must be addressed, and there are strict requirements regarding functionalities, durability, user-friendliness, safety, ergonomics and, not least, environmental impact. UKE has finalised the draft of the tender documentation. In connection with the final phase of the work, UKE would like to give tenderers the opportunity to provide input on several of the tender documents. For more information on the details for the documents, see the attached draft of the tender documentation and follow-up letter. The procurement contract covers both new and used furniture and fittings that naturally fall into the product categories below: -Office furniture - School furniture - Health and institutional furniture - Internal sun shading All the Contracting Authority's organisations can trade in any of the product categories of the contract. The Contract also includes, but is not exclusive to: - Procurement of second hand furniture - Lighting - Custom-designed/manufactured furniture and fittings - Reuse and recycling services The Contracting Authority will make the procurement on behalf of collaborating entities in addition to Oslo Municipality. Collaborative partners in this procurement will be some neighbouring municipalities and limited companies owned by the City of Oslo. The final list of partners involved in the procurement will be published in the regular announcement.
