A Table-top SEM (Scanning Electron Microscope) for studying purpose is needed for the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, the Ångström Laboratory at Uppsala University. The specimens for studying will come from a broad spectrum in the form of e.g. large bulk metallic materials, thin films or powders.
