Ryfast is the link between Nord Jæren and Ryfylke. It consists of the Ryfylke tunnel from Strand to Hundvåg and the Hundvåg tunnel (Hundvågtunnelen) from Hundvåg to Stavanger as relief for the current town bridge. In the same project the Eiganes tunnel is being built which is a tunnel for E39 under the town Schancheholen to Tasta
Entreprise E05 Hundvåg tunnel is a 5.7 km long two lane tunnel which is partially under sea and partially under land. The Hundvåg tunnel is operation from the ramps at Buøy and meets respectively E03 and E05 within the tunnel.
The Hundvåg tunnel meets enterprise E04 Eiganes tunnel just below Lagård Kirkegård (Cemetery). Entreprise E05 the Hundvåg tunnel meets E03 just within the portal at Hundvåg Nord (North). E03 casts the portal.
The enterprise comprises in addition to the tunnel an open air zone at Buøy, with three roundabouts, a path/bicycle bridge as well as open air road.
