Universitetet i Bergen har til hensikt å anskaffe et instrument til deteksjon og analyse av biomolekylære interaksjoner, basert på enten Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) eller Grating-Coupled Interferometry (GCI) teknologi. Instrumentet skal benyttes ved BiSS, som er en kjernefasilitet ved Det medisinske fakultet og er plassert ved Institutt for biomedisin.
