Short description
Vantaan Energia Oy, hereinafter "Contracting Entity" is planning to build a new district heating battery of approximately 15,000 m3 in the Martinlaakso power plant area as part of the electric boiler project (VEEB). The battery capacity will be approximately 700 MW with discharge mass flow of 550 kg/s. The district heating battery will be built in an existing reservoir next to another older district heating battery on new foundations and it will be connected to the power plant's district heating system. The construction site activities are planned to start 01/2025 and it is planned to be commissioned in 09/2025. This is a preliminary schedule, and the final schedule will be determined in the final invitation to tender based on the negotiation phase.
