This call for tenders aims to award contracts to provide assistance to the European Parliament in the update, upgrade, maintenance, and further development of its physical and online educational Role Play Games (RPG) and to assess the European Parliament’s Role Play Game offer in order to identify needs of secondary schools and non-formal education providers on the territory of the European Union possibly not covered.
RPG Universe; Development and Maintenance (Specific Update and Upgrade Included) of a Physical RPG
The successful bidder will develop a new software environment, fully belonging to the EP, and new case studies (scenario and all related multimedia assets) fully compatible with the physical RPG installations in Brussels, Strasbourg and across Europe. This includes the software programming, the contents and interface development as well as the roll out, technical support and maintenance, for its physical RPG, located in different facilities in Brussels, Strasbourg and other European capital cities.
RPG Universe; Development and Maintenance of a Virtual RPG
The successful bidder will develop a new software as well as provide new content for its virtual RPG, a web-based application.
RPG Universe; Assessment of the Need for a Mobile RPG
The successful bidder will assess the needs not covered by the above mentioned products and explore the room for an additional, so-called mobile RPG, which would be offered to local actors throughout Europe (schools and non-formal education providers for example); to develop the technical specifications for an ulterior tender procedure in order to develop such mobile RPG.
