Inter-municipal ICT services Nordhordland will, on behalf of the collaboration, hold a tender competition for the following areas: 1) Internal fibre cables in the municipalities: 2) Joint internet access. The administrative employees in the municipality user more and more joint applications and/or cloud systems for different areas. This will increase in the coming years. An important user group is schools with approx. 7 000 pupils, which are increasingly dependent on the internet in teaching activities. Health and welfare will, to an increasingly large degree, use digital systems within, amongst other things, welfare technology in the coming years. This sector will be more and more dependent on secure access to data with high requirements for access and stability in the systems.
