Orkdal, Meldal, Agdenes and Snillfjord municipalities are neighbouring municipalities in Trøndelag The municipalities are cooperating closely and from 1.1.2020 Orkdal, Meldal, Agdenes and parts of Snillfjord will merge into one municipality. The new municipality will be named Orkland municipality. After the merge the municipality will have 20 000 inhabitants.
Orkland municipality would like to procure an ERP system that will include a finance, payroll and personnel system that fulfils the requirements for keeping municipal accounts, paying wages, as well as some HR functionality. This is to include handling sensitive personal information, which involves compliance with the new rules for personal protection.
