Bysykkelen AS skal inngå en inngå en rammeavtale for levering av en el-bysykkel. Avtale gjelder produksjon av prototype, påfølgende testløp og produksjon av sykkelen, innpasset og tilrettelagt for eksisterende bysykkelordning med eksisterende infrastruktur. I anskaffelsen inngår leveranse av reservedeler til syklene, samt naturlige inkrementelle endringer av sykkelen i kontraktsperioden. Leverandøren som blir tildelt kontrakt har en mulighet til å inngå en lisensavtale med Bysykkelen for øvrig produksjon og salg av sykkelen til andre aktører både nasjonalt og internasjonalt.
