Kavli Institutt for System Nevrovitenskap (KI) at NTNU consists of seven research groups that work to understand how psychological functions arise based on activity in neural networks and systems (for further info see: https://www.ntnu.edu/kavli). Our researchers gather enormous amounts of data through their experiments. So that this data can be used well and efficiently, the results must be stored securely, categorised and correctly labelled, be available and easy to share. The Moser group in KI has taken the initiative to get a user-friendly framework for scientific data pipelines that give secure stores, partial automated analysis stages and easy sharing of data. We have already established the DataJoint framework in the laboratory and would like to expand this to include more researchers and projects.
