Procurement of a Framework Agreement for respite care services for children and youths

Ringerike municipality would like to meet its need for respite care services on a 24 hour, hourly and holiday basis. The services apply to parents / guardians of children and youths who, due to reduced function, have a particular need for respite. The tenderer will be responsible for ensuring that the service adheres to Norwegian laws and regulations, and that the service is otherwise in accordance with the order from the Contracting Authority.

The objective of the Agreement is to secure certified quality services for the Contracting Authority in the following groups when the Contracting Authority cannot cover the need with internal resources:

— respite services for persons with adjustment difficulties and undesired behaviour in social settings,

— respite services for persons with physical disabilities, intellectual disabilities and autism spectrum diagnoses.

The users of the service are a varied group, both in age and needs. The municipality therefore needs to ensure a broad service offer in order to meet all needs.
