Halden kommune shall construct a new primary school 'New Idd School'. The school shall be a 3 parallel school grades 1 to 7 . The school is designed for 588 students.
The school's gross area is 6 700 m2, as well as development of the accompanying outdoor areas.
Halden kommune would like to be a leading example in connection with low energy and the use of wooden materials. The school shall meet the current requirements in TEK 10, as well as ensure low energy standards in accordance with NS 3701.
The contractor's preferred system is a solid wood supporting system, but at the same time the turnkey contractor shall price an option on a traditional supporting system.
The project is placed in enterprise classification 3.
