Om prosjektet og anskaffelsens formål 
NRK står overfor en historisk teknologisk og organisatorisk transformasjon. Vi forbereder flytting fra vårt tradisjonelle hovedkontor på Marienlyst til et helt nytt og fremtidsrettet hovedkontor på Normannsløkka (Ensjø) i Oslo. Som en sentral del av dette bygger NRK en ny, helhetlig IP-basert produksjonsplattform (Modernised Production Platform - MPP) basert på SMPTE ST 2110-standarden.

For å sikre en trygg, presis og kostnadseffektiv overgang, inviterer NRK til konkurranse om en rammeavtale for profesjonelle systemintegrasjonstjenester (SI-tjenester). Vi søker strategiske partnere som kan ta et helhetlig ansvar, og som kan vise til tung erfaring fra store, virksomhetskritiske og IP-baserte medieproduksjonsanlegg, eller tilsvarende komplekse prosjekter i andre sektorer.
